Creativity and art journey

“If you could only show us one project of yours, to describe what you do, which one would it be and why?”

“I will only show my project “A night in forest”. It is very close to my heart. When I was making it I felt several times wanting to quit. It was out of my comfort zone, but when I made it, I had a felling that I can’t explain. It is also one of my few projects which have everything according to me.”

“What’s the earliest art project you were proud of?”

“It was a drawing of an old cowboy. It had nothing special, but I don’t know why I liked it so much. I think, because I made it with a pen in my free period in school in my rough notebook.”

“What art pieces (from other artists) blow you away and what specifically do you like about them?.”

“There are many artworks from many artist, but my favorite is Rural Plains by Rashed Abdullah. It’s just amazing! The atmosphere to the composition. I personally like the look of the artwork. Calm, relaxing and nature.”

“Throughout your life, what kind of support did you have from the people around you when it comes to your artistic developments?”

“In my life, I received my support from my friends and and my family. Excluding those nasty relatives who think 3D art and coding is useless for my age. Coming back to the topic, my parents have always supported me. My friends also supported me sometimes I guess 🤔🤔.

Once I went to my Grandmother and met my uncle he said that if I will do coding and 3D I will become addicted to it and I will start thinking about it 24/7 even in washroom. I was like ok boomer in my mind 😎 .”

“What are things that influenced you in your life, to create the art that you create?”

“Nature. Nature is the thing which inspires me to create art. One day I wanted to replicate nature in 3D photorealisticly. The artwork I create are the steps to my photoreal nature I want to create.”

“Why are you creative?”

“I don’t know. Maybe I was born creative and I am not like those kids who only study for good marks. I also study and tops many times, but I hardly study more than 1 hour in a day without exams.”

Personality and values

“If your friends or co-workers were here, what would they tell me about you?”

“They would say that I am too serious, but when I start talking it’s hard to stop me! They would have also told you that I love computers. I always talk about them.”

“What’s one specific memory you never want to forget?”

“The memory when I got my first laptop, it is just amazing.”

“What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve had to face in your life?”

“My life’s biggest obstacle is to manage my study and my passion at same time. It’s hard to do homework, prepare for exams and make 3D stuff at same time.”

“If you could have a video of any event in your life, which one would you choose?”

“I can’t choose any one specific event, but if I have to capture my life’s best events it would be me and my parents.”

“What is something everyone should try atleast once in their life?”

“Something everyone should try are the things they love to watch and to talk about. Like I always watch pc building videos so I want to build a pc.”

“What chapter in your life, did you enjoy most?”

“My current Life stage from 5 to 18 year old, I am enjoying this stage very much. I am 13 years old and I don’t have any depression or anxieties like adults.”

Creating Art

“What does the process of coming up with new ideas look like for you?”

“The easiest way of coming up with new ideas is to browse web, you will surely get an idea and another way is to go outside and observe your surroundings.”

“Before you start a project, what feelings or thoughts are going through your head?”

“What models and textures I will need. Will I be able to make it good as I thought. Those are all the thoughts that are in my mind when I start any project.”

“At what point in a project do you struggle the most?”

“When the time comes to do the lighting. It is the hardest thing to make perfect and it is the most important thing as it will decide how your scene will look.”

“Do you have any advice on breaking out of your artistic comfort zone?”

“If you break out of your comfort zone, first few artworks will not be good, but when you practice you will make artwork better than your previous ones. Breaking out of your artistic comfort zone means to make good artwork in future.”

“If you could give your younger self any art advice, what would it be?”

“Don’t lose hope, never think that I can’t do it, break out of your comfort zone and don’t be lazy.”

“If you could ask your favorite artists anything you wanted, what would you ask?”

“I would ask them to teach me how to make artwork like them.”

Remembering an artist’s name shows that you care. It’s not all about the artwork, but also who created it! If you could ask Harshit Panwar any question, which one would it be? Post it in the comments down below!

  • Thanks Harshit! It’s quite incredible to be as good as you are in 3D as a 13 year old. If you stick with 3D you’ll be creating insane work as you get older, but don’t forget to enjoy your childhood!
