Creativity and art journey

“If you could only show us one project of yours, to describe what you do, which one would it be and why?”

“I opened a service on fiverr and I’m already working on several projects there. I know you only see a few reviews but in my profile there are 95 reviews. It’s because my old teeth there were removed. Link to my fiverr

“Whats the earliest art project you still remember that you were proud of?”

“My first job came from a local DJ who came from America named DJ Tiopaco, but the job I’m proud of is when I got a job from Mike Mongo (NASA).”

“What art pieces (from other artists) blow you away and what specifically do you like about them?.”

“Manga, because manga has a unique characteristic. Besides that, it is very detailed, different from comics in general.”

“Throughout your life, what kind of support did you have from the people around you when it comes to your artistic developments?”

“Almost non-existent, even my own mother used to think it was a waste to do.”

“What project of yours are you most proud of and what makes it so special.”

“As in the previous answer, namely the work for Mike Mongo, because he is a part of NASA.”

“What are things, that influenced you in your life, to create the art that you create?”

“Filling spare time and also connecting my life.”

“What aspect of your art do you want people to remember you for?”

“Colorful!”

“Why are you creative?”

“I’m not sure about this, but being creative is important for everyone.”

Personality and values

“If your friends or co-workers were here, what would they tell me about you?”

“Maybe about my coldness with others and about me being more often alone.”

“What’s one specific memory you never want to forget?”

“Memories when I was little. Play with my friends before all go with their own life goals.”

“What’s the biggest obstacle you’ve had to face in your life?”

“I’m an introvert. And that is what I think is my obstacle.”

“If you could have a video of any event in your life, which one would you choose?”

“When my grandfather was alive. He is a hero to me.”

“As you get older, what are you becoming more and more afraid of?”

“Death…”

“What is something everyone should try atleast once in their life?”

“Eat Indomie Noodles!”

“What chapter in your life, did you enjoy most?”

“When I was little and didn’t have the burden of life.”

Creating Art

“What does the process of coming up with new ideas look like for you?”

“When alone…”

“What kind of advice would you give someone who struggles to come up with ideas?”

“Don’t think too hard. Just do it and the idea will emerge.”

“Before you start a project, what feelings or thoughts are going through your head?”

“The sooner it is finished the sooner I will get the money.”

“At what point in a project do you struggle the most?”

“Similarity to the original character. Especially if it’s a living being is part of the expression and T area.”

“Do you have any advice on breaking out of your artistic comfort zone?”

“Just try to do something else. I used to only like WPAP and when I tried Pop Art with curved lines and I think I was addicted to it.”

“If you could give your younger self any art advice, what would it be?”

“I’d better study art earlier or maybe better when I’m not yet 5 years old.”

“If you could ask your favorite artists anything you wanted, what would you ask?”

“What awaits me in the future? Can I escape from being an Introvert?”

Lintang Wicaksono

Remembering an artist’s name shows that you care. It’s not all about the artwork, but also who created it! If you could ask Lintang Wicaksono any question, which one would it be? Post it in the comments down below!

  • I have a couple of questions for you Lintang.

    1. The job you got from Mike Mongo, what kind of job was it?
    2. What type of manga do you like and what’s your favorite manga in general?
    3. Do you have any stories of your grandfather you’d like to share with us? (if not, don’t worry about it)

    • 1. A kind of common job for Mike Mongo’s portrait photos and also for his friend’s campaign.
      2. Manga as usual, namely detailed manga in black and white. And my favorite manga is One Punch Man and also Sinbad no Bouken.
      3. Nothing. Only my grandfather was a good person and cared about me.

      • Haha! One punch man is also one of my favorites! The manga artist is absolutely insane and some panels are just mind blowing.
